INDIANAPOLIS- Susan Rene Sheffler, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 9th, 2024. Although she could not physically walk due to cerebral palsy, she spiritually walked with her beloved Jesus. Susan was born in Vincennes, Indiana, on September 28th, 1958. She cherished being around family and friends for a variety of activities, special events and occasions and especially liked to celebrate her birthday. Acquaintances and people who knew Susan were blessed by her smile, laughter, and love for life. She enjoyed attending school, going to prom,
reading, painting, coloring, swimming, participating on a bowling team as well as going to concerts, movies, and amusement parks. She took the opportunity to try new things like riding in an airboat and water tubing. She looked forward to family vacations at Dale Hollow Lake that included houseboats, camping, or staying in a cabin and boating. Most of all, Susan loved to attend church to sing hymns, learn more about Jesus and fellowship with other believers.
She was a member of the College Park Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Susan will truly be missed by all, but her memory will continue to bless the lives of everyone who knew her.
